Does anyone know what type level indication sensors are used in the holding tanks for a 2007 Intrigue with Silverleaf interface? Mine continues to read full even after backflush and draining. Looking to determine what type sensors were used and/or how they are supposed to determine level.

They are surface mounted and add resistance as the tank fills. They adhere to the tank with a special tape
I would contact silverleaf for trouble shooting

We have the same problem with the same year Intrigue. Sensor location and ease of change would also be appreciated.

Don't give up yet. I also have an 07 Intrigue. Currently working perfectly. Try adding 3/4 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax powder. Stir it in a clean stool of water at flush. Do it asap and then after a fresh dump/flush so you have a concentrated Borax solution to start. You'll need to do 4-5 tanks before you'll see a real improvement.

You also need an Omniscope to calibrate the SilverLeaf settings. That is about $130 from SilverLeaf and will connect your Windows 10 laptop to the SilverLeaf TCM. You can change many other settings with it as well. Pretty handy tool to have.

Hi lee
Our sensors are on the exterior or the tank. Adding anything to the mix seems futile. What does the borax do?
I've had the problem with the black tank reading 25% for quite awhile now

Hi Marsha. What do the sensors detect in order to indicate filled or empty?

As it was explained to me from silverleaf the sensors resistance goes up as it senses water as it hits the second sensor it adds resistance so on and so forth these values are in the program and relate directly to the percent of fullness.

We are using Calgon water softner and a few squirts of dish soap. Has greatly improved our sensors after just a few treatments. The intention of this is to clean the walls for better conduction.

Well, it seems that accumulated tank scum on the inside wall of a tank is likely to also add resistance but Borax would dissolve the scum. My black tank stopped showing empty after a dump, for the longest time. After adding the Borax, which I've been doing for a year now, the black again consistently shows empty after a dump. Scum gone. I can't recall your noting if the fresh tank reads normally as it empties. If it keeps showing full, bad sensor.

After 3 fill and drain operations (filled using tank sprayer line), it read zero. Added

For what it's worth, the water dumped at completion is clear.
