Hey all,

Just bought a new to me CC and looking for info on lots of things. Never
got to speak with previous owner so I am having to figure everything out as
I go.

Right now, my two issues are

1 - the PTO - and whether or not I need to worry about it. Going to get
some closeup photos tomorrow when I get some service done.

2 - the Tow Board. I have no right turn signal light to my toad. The board
is in the engine bay and it clicks when the left blinker is working... but
not when the right one is on. I heard I can possibly replace the board with
something from a 2003 to 2008 Dodge pickup? (which makes sense because the
taillights are from that vehicle too)

Good to have you here and good luck with your new coach.

(Wet PTO) Yes you need to worry about it, grease the splines one a year or have it changed. I had my changed 5 years ago.

There are fuses on the tow board, check them as well. I've had this same issue.
Good luck!

Yep.. All fuses are good. Even put a continuity tester to make sure.

Thanks Kevin... probably going that route, but I want to remove the board and get a test light on things.

Can you (or someone) explain the purpose of the board? It has 2 large plugs of wires going into the bottom of it.

Am I to assume that one batch of wires are the IN and one is the OUT. Meaning the wires go into the board - the board does something - and then outputs on the other batch?

Tony:

The Tow Board is mainly used to get brake lights back to the tow car and does turn signals as well

Hi Kevin,

I saw a post that said that you had the door switch that activates the steps and the light. How much is it?
