I have 2 low point drains and the fresh water tank drains in the wet bay....and now the cold water low point drain "petcock" is leaking. All of the plumbing lines are PEX. Anyone switched the petcock valves to ball valves or otherwise changed out the guts of the petcocks?
Changing would be the easiest...but where do I get the parts?
Thanks!

Hi,
I "rebuilt" my fresh water tank valve a few years ago. I took the stem out of the valve and went to Home Depot and purchased a similar valve. Changing the innards solved the issue. If the replacement valve won't work, HD has a liberal return policy.

Do you have the electric LO point drains? Mine has about five of the Pentair - Goyne electric valves and rebuild kits are available but have a long lead time as they have to come from Australia.

Thank you both for your recommendations. Yuell, no, I don't have the electric valves, but thanks! Don, I've been to Lowes and found a replacement valve and I'll change the innards today and see if that works!
Thanks!
