Has anyone put 295 80r 22.5 on 2001 infinity. It has 315 80r 22.5 on it now. I realize speedo will be off a little but not sure there's anything else that it would effect. I have some new 295's already bought and on hand is the reason I'm asking. Thanks

I don't think tire width would affect the speedo?

The difference in overall diameter and RPMs is minimal (less than 1 %). The biggest concern should be the load carrying capacity, as the 315/80R22.5 can carry 9,090 lbs(single) while a 295/80R22.5 can only carry 7,830 lbs(single). Michelin also has a "295/80R22.5 X Coach HL Z", which is a "heavy load" tire that can carry more weight than the XZA2, but less than the 315/80R22.5 (8,270 lbs single).

I hear ya on the Speedo everything I've says about a mile diff which does not concern me. On the weight I cannot imagine the front weighing more than 16k if you used 8k per tire. I can't see the rear weighing over 48k which would be the capacity of the 6 rear tires. Am I figuring this wrong. Thanks

You guys also realize it depends which wheels you have. I have 8.25 rims as my coach originally had 12 R tires. But I run 315's now for a smoother ride and the narrower width of the rim reduces the capacity of the 315. But unless you are driving a big Magna or Affinity you shouldn't have a problem. Some folks try putting 365's on their coaches, I now they are standard on later Prevost, but don't know about the last couple years of Magnas and Affinities. Have you every seen new 2007 and 2006 Magnas with 295 tires pulling
