The 2005 Inspires will have a CAT C9 400 HP Engine in them. What do you know about them? Are these new engines? Looking for input before I buy a new Inspire.

The engines have just officially appeared on CAT'S web site. They are all new except the C7 and C15. It all has to do with meeting new federal quide lines and giving Cummins a run for the intermediate business. They have new engineering. Country Coach was talking about C13 at 2003 aqnnual rally.

These are the new engines, and they are again ahead of the Cummins. They also have more torque for the horse power then Cummins, not sure about this but in the past the Cat engines always have had more power then the Cummins. If you are going to get ready for the future why use old tecknology, when new is available..
