Hello members,
I am in need for a service center on my coach. The radiator fan stop working. I have not had any luck finding someone that knows this rig and how to trouble shoot this problem. I took it in to a big rig truck service and 400.00 later they could not find the problem and said were sorry. I should be the one that is sorry .
So my question is I am looking for a service center that is familiar with county coach big rig in the Chicago land surrounding area. If anyone knows of a mechanic that can service this rig I would be very greatful for any l we'd to pursue.

Sorry, can't help you first hand on the area shops. Check out RVSERVICEREVIEW.COM, might find someone on that. On the Fan Controller, ours in a 04 Allure with Cummins ISL (Assume you have the CAT C13), would act up from time to time. I found that by unplugging the harness going into the FCU (Fan Control Unit), spraying with electrical cleaner, air in a can drying, and then a dab of dielectric grease, reconnecting - that the FCU would again properly control the fan. Takes 10-15 mins to try this, and you might get lucky:)!
Your Magna's Interaction with the FCU is more complex then the Allure's, so do due diligence on the following:)! I replaced/bypassed the FCU and went with the Source Engineering's simple Wax Valve control of the fan. About two years, and 18-20K later, very happy with how this is working for me.
Enjoy your coach, and good luck,
Smitty

Larre, I recommend that you take it to Holland Motorhomes in Holland, Michigan.

I would try Holland Motor Homes and Bus Company in Holland, MI. They were recommended to me by HWH several years ago. Although we live in Maryland, I have used them twice for various specialized repairs which we schedule when passing through Michigan. They have techs familiar with Country Coach and believe between the Bus and RV side of the business, they would be able to handle your issues.
