The Splendide W/D combo in my 2005 CC Allure has given up on life. I know all the arguments against them, but the wife wants one (happy wife...etc.etc.). I know nothing on this topic. What should I get to replace it? Equator vs Splendide? Another brand? Any pro's on the topic out there in CC land?

Pulled out the Splendide combo and installed separate Splendide washer and dryer. Had to install dedicated circuit for the 2nd machine. Had 6 " left for tall shelf.
Wife happy camper...
Tip: found the circuit boards very susceptible to bad power.... So, check power prior to running these machines. $350 for the circuit board.

Crafts don't match my personality. 45yrs in the Military & LAFD means I don't do indoors well. I'm always out in my Jeep, on my bike, or some similar active outdoor activity. But diversity makes us great.

OK, I've decided to go with the Splendide 2100XC. Based on recommendations from the two CC groups I'm in...and the face that Camping World is having a $300 off sale with a flat $249 flat installation fee. The closer was the $249 installation. I don't need to lift, sweat or cuss the installation...SOLD!

We have a 2006 Inspire, and I do really like our Splendide. It's not my fancy front washer and dryer that I have at home, and it takes some planning and maybe a load a day, but I actually and truly look forward to doing laundry when we're in our motorhome. I actually paid either ten or eleven dollars several years ago for a very short papers stapled together little book about how to best use the Splendid, and everything the wonderful author said is right on. Put in the amount of clothes that would fit inside a basketball or a grocery plastic bag. When dry, or almost dry even, place the warm/hot golf shirts, for example, on the bed, smooth them each out, one on top of each other, and it's like ironing, almost! Seriously, it works. Are you all laughing that I am saying that doing laundry this way in our motorhome is fun?
