Need help from anyone who has experienced this similar situation. I have a 2004 Country Coach Inspire. In the compartment next to the battery compartment next the battery compartment there is a box with electronics in it. Attached to the top of the box is a wire that plugs in similar to a phone type plug. On the other end of this wire is a connector that goes through into the battery compartment that has a connector that attaches to the hot post on one of the 6 volt house batteries. This connector has corrode and come apart. Inside the wire are 5 very small wires like phone wires. Anyone have any idea what this does? Thanks.

John,
That little thing monitors the battery temps and sends the info back to the charger. It's not absolutely necessary but it will protect the batteries from over temp during charging. You should be able to replace it easily.

Thanks Barney. I have also been in touch with Kevin Waite and sent him pictures. Appreciate your quick followup. What you are saying makes sense.

I would like to recommend that you procure a packet that comes with a camera or other electronic devices. Corrosion keeps coming back, like a bad penny.
