Hi..Has anyone out there had the air filter on their ISL 370 changed? If so, what was the price of the filter and the time charged to change it?

On our 04 Allure, 31017, we had to remove the bracket that holds the mud flap, to remove the filter cover for replacement. (We removed out mud flap permanently, so do not need to do this now. And different coaches may not need to do this.)
And caution on Filter Barn, IF they have not changed their business inventory management practices. I ordered four fuel filters from them, all of which were past their Shelf Life Date. They did ship me other ones, that were not yet expired. But since I had bought these two pairs of filters to carry for spares on the road, the Shelf Life's were too close to be practical for that usage.
So I now go into the local Cummins Shops, and use the Cummins Power Club to buy my filters. A bit more expensive, even with the discount, but always have a few years left on Shelf Life Date, so work well for my usage. I buy a new pair every year, put those in storage, and take out the oldest Shelf Life Date to use during annual maintenance. So I do FIFO by date of Shelf Life expiration, and this keeps my safety stock fresh:)!
Best of luck to you,
Smitty

I've 31017, caps era ISL but believe the filters are the same for VGT era too(?).
I usually use the Donaldson unit that George reference. But have run with Fleetguard's AF25139 at least twice. Both are good filters.
Best of luck to you,

RCV custom coach in Junction City is our place for repairs. Bob Vinson used to work for Country Coach.

And he was also the the Service manager at OMC after ED had to retire for family heath reasons. Bob is always fair. Its sort of a tradition instilled in CC workers by Bob Lee. I miss the gang, Larry Sherwood, Doug Rutherford, Chris Snyder, Eric, BOB, Jim, TOM, the slide room genious, and especially Dave Remington and the list goes on and on. They all have a wealth of knowledge. Its a shame they all couldn't have remained together in some fashion. TWInsall. 2004 Intrigue 11731

Bob Vinson, is very, very good. Eric O. has a place in Tucson and I will be visiting it soon.

We too have had Bob Vinson do work for us. He is fair and precise. His shop is well equipped. Bob would be at the top of our list. Do schedule appointments with him in advance as many other folks have found out about him. It's a two day trip for us to drive the coach up, but knowing it'll be all good is worth it.
Btw. Many great wineries in the area for day trips.

Bob Vinson is our ONLY source for service. We have found his expertise to be superior to any of the other ccoach servicers in the JC area. I wish his location was a bit more "presentable", but not there for a party!
Bob, please keep up the good work.

Thanks Smitty....I tried the AF25139 but it would not go in far enough to put the cover on. The problem was that the top of the filter has a raised ring around the hole. The Donaldson filter that I removed has a flat top. A Donaldson filter was not available in my area so I used a Gold filter from NAPA number 6556. It fit fine...Thanks for all of the advice I received...

Thanks for closing the loop back on what you found out. Just goes to show you that even in the same model, and relatively close serial number range - differences between the sub models exists when it comes to the air filter:)!
One other interesting tidbit, is that the air filter in our 04 40' Allure High Cascade model, is the same one that I know is used for two friends with the C13 engine. So the CFM capabilities to feed a larger air volume C13 - give me lots of excess air for out mid size ISL:)!
Glad you found a filter that works for your coach. Best,
Smitty
