Hi we need to get our 2016 Yukon set up to tow behind a class A. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop to do it? Apparently with all the fancy electronics and accident avoidance features on new cars today this is becoming a very complicated/ expensive job. We live in Alpine WY near Idaho Falls and will be traveling down I15 to Vegas, and eventually central CA. Looking for a very experienced and reputable RV repair along the way to do it. We have contacted several GMC dealers and lots of local shops - no one seems to have a clue, or to have ever actually done this set up. We do have a guy down in Phoenix, but didn't want to go that far out of the way if it isn't necessary. Thanks for any leads!

It is somewhat a northern drive from Idaho Falls, but we had our 2015 Yukon Denali set up for towing by Hitch, Pro and Tow in Eugene. The Yukon is the second vehicle they have done for us and they do a great job. Not only that but they are familiar with the tow board configuration on your CC.

I have a 07 Intrigue and I tow a Ford F-150 or CRV. I use a wireless Towmate light bar that installs in a tow receiver on both vehicles. For braking I use a RVIbrake2 brake system. I use a portable battery pack with a 12v port to power the brake system. I've used it in 3 different vehicles, and I've let friends use it for there vehicles with a tow hitch

This is at the end of your trip, but we had our 2014 CRV set up at The Hitch House in Stockton, CA. I highly recommend them!

Mohave Hitch and Welding did our 2017 Acadia last winter. They are in Lake Havasu City, Arizona

There is a Transwest facility just south of Fort Collins Colorado. They have service bays for all types of coaches and have a commercial shop next to it. While I do not have any direct service experience with them they have been helpful with parts. They are not cheap though, but it will be done right.
