Folks I have searched high and low and I cannot locate a tow board in this rig. certainly nothing that looks anything like the picture that was posted some weeks ago. I don't have a problem, but I'd like to know where it is in case I do. Someone on here suggested turning on the flashers or turn signal and listen for it. I tried that and all I found was a standard little tin can flasher relay in the drivers bay. Absolutely silence in the engine bay area. Is it possible I don't have one? If anyone has a Magna of around this vintage perhaps they know the answer.

Rich, mine is in the aftmost curbside bay. It is high on the forward bulkhead. The board has two large red electrical connectors and it slides vertically into a protective enclosure. You definitely have one though it may not be where mine is.
Good luck.

In my 2002 Intrigue the tow board is located in the bedroom beneath the bottom drawer adjacent to closet. Need to remove the drawer to see it.

Do you have drawers on the pax side in the bedroom? Pull out the bottom drawer and look in the hole. It should be mounted on the floor.
That's where mine is.

Richard in our 03 Allure the tow board is in the bedroom, passenger's side, under the drawer vanity. Aft bottom corner.

On my 2000 Magna the tow board is located in the engine compartment, passenger side overhead. It is a black paperback sized box. Russ Warren

Help me understand the function of a tow board? Is this for regulating the brake pressure for the tow vehicle?

Mark, the function of the tow board is to repeat the rear lights at the 7 pin trailer outlet. That is turn, brake and running lights. The reason for the tow board is to separate the coach lights from trailer outlet so that a problem with the trailer lights will not take out the coach lights.
The tow board has a relay and fuse for each light function signal sent to the 7 pin outlet.

Folks, I looked under all the drawers in the bedroom. All I found was a pair of socks that I've been missing. I looked in the engine bay. there is a gold aluminum metal electronic device with cooling fins and a bunch of wires up high on the passenger side. Not far from it mounted vertically, there is a roughly 4 by 6 in wooden frame that looks as if it had something that slid into it that has been removed. I am wondering if at some point someone replaced the tow board with this gold metal device. I would guess the color of the wires might give someone an idea. I will attempt to post the pictures I took, but generally they never appear here when I do it. I simply attach the photos to this message in Outlook.

The wire colors are right

Thanks Don and Alan. Search over. The picture of the tow board you posted Don, shows the exact wooden frame I described which is empty in my coach. Alan says the the wire colors of gold device are right so I have concluded that someone replaced the tow board with this gold device years ago. I wonder what it is because it works perfectly! I've been pulling toads for 11 years now with no lighting problems.

I had an 2001 Magna and it was in the engine compartment. Mid way up mounted on wall behind the back cap and the wall. Small narrow area and little hard to get my big hands and arm in but it is doable.

Hello Rich. Sorry for the slow reply but I was in a serious accident and am healing my broken legs. We were hit by a truck that crossed the line and hit us head on. Unfortunately my wonderful wife and traveling companion did not survive. We crashed on September 3rd and I won't be walking until next year.
On my 2002 Magna the tow board is located on the passenger side engine compartment. in a holder just right of the power steering reservoir. A little hard to reach but reachable. Sorry I can't get to the coach now but my legs are unusable.
