Does anyone know where to locate the Remote Switches for the Combination Gas/Electric Atwood GCH10A4E Water Heater, or know the wire numbers for the two wires listed below?
I have +12VDC (Electric) at the white wire (2) to ground, I'm missing the +12VDC (Gas) at the orange wire (1) to ground. I'm in the process of tracing the wires and toning them out.
Thanks,
Bobby

Where is your switch (controls dc volts only) located that changes the heat source from gas to electronic?

I'm not sure where that switch is. That's the one I'm looking for. Hot water was being provided thru the exchange of heat from the engine while driving. Gas provided hot water all other times until it stopped working. I then used the 115vac to heat the water.
Thanks,
Bobby

Problems resolved. 1. The on/off switch labeled Atwood is located in the kitchen near the sink. This switch was off. It provides 12 vdc to the orange wire (gas) at the hot water heater. The wires were toned to locate the switch. 2. The Electornic Circuit Board was also defective. Thanks for the assistance in troubleshooting.
Sincerely,
Bobby

Your welcome, if you have to replace the system let me know. They updated the system so it's not just plug and go. I worked through a lot of new wiring issues.
