We are in the first week of a 3 week trip and it seems the oil cooler is leaking. I would like to know if I can keep going on the trip and just add more oil if I check the levels often.
Here is some information:
1. I have inspected and there are no fittings/connection leaks anywhere...oil is collecting in the pan at the outside of the rad stack and leaking out the bottom.
2. The hyd oil tank is nearly empty and that is the oil on the ground.
3. Do any of you have other removal suggestions?
Thanks for any suggestions....I'm really in a bind!

You need to say what color the oil is. If the hydro is low, that is usually transmission oil

If your hyd tank is nearly empty you have to get this fixed. That's a lot of oil and it's probably dextron and color red. You don't fill that tank up but it takes a lot to bring it up to the level it should be. You did not list your coach info but that tank should also have three filters. Since the leak is near the radiator I would think this is the Hyd. fan that is leaking and hopefully only a hose connection. I don't know how bad your leak is but if a hose were to burst and spray hyd. fluid on a hot engine the outcome could be bad.
