Title: RV Comfort Thermostat

The room temperature on my thermostat is way off. My house thermometer reads 73 and the thermostat temp reads 83 in zone 1. Zone 2 appears to be accurate. Both AC and heat work but I need to set the temp way high to get the furnace to come on. Any hints on a fix?

Judy:

Zone 1 is the LR and I assume the temp sensor is located in/under the entertainment center, hence, the reason for a 10 degree difference. There should be a fan in the cabinet, however it does not remove all the heat. The solution is to move the temp sensor to a different location, however that involves a lot more work than I want to entertain, so I live with a 7 degree differential in my coach.

Look at my past posts. I have explained how to fix this issue multiple times, for all your zones. It is very easy to do. A little speaker wire, some new sensors, and some double sided tape and you will have perfect temps throughout coach

No temp sensor in the entertainment area. If it was it should have been high all along. The temp difference just started this morning. It's my understanding that the zone 1 (LR) sensor in my coach is located in the thermostat itself.

I sure hope there is a resolution to this - we have been dealing with this for a LONG time. I can't locate the sender, and it surely can't be at the thermostat (behind a door).

Ken and Carol, by sender do you mean where the temperature is sensed? If so, on our 06 Inspire the sender in the front is right as we enter the coach under the entertainment electronics. In the back, it's over in the corner in front of the cabinet to the left off the closet and close to the rider's side wall.

Is the sensor in the entertainment cabinet or on the outside of the cabinet?
I'm unable to find it. The one in the rear on mine is located above where the washer goes.

For our coach, it is just on the outside corner which I'll describe as nearer to the center of the coach and away from the door. Please let me know if that makes any sense. Yes, our sensor in the rear is as you said.
