Just changed out my 19-year-old water pump on my 2000 Magna and it has no juice going to it...... Can't find the damn fuse! Looked in the fuse cabinet under the driver's seat (outside) and the central power cabinet in the middle of the first bay as well as the rear compartment where the master breakers are... no luck! Help anybody, it seems like such an easy task but not for me! Wire 177 at the switch in the overhead compartment but can't find it anyplace else..
Help,

The best I remember from my 99 Intrigue it was an in-line way back in the cubby hole.

Fuse panel in front run bay, 4th fuse down on the driver's side of the panel. Wire #164, 12 gage, black. That wire goes to the water pump relay coil, not the switched contacts. But, the relay is toggled by the water fill switch, not the water pump switch. The relay is wired normally closed. When the water fill switch is toggled, the relay is switched to normally open disconnecting power to the water pump so the pump does not run while you are filling the tank.
That fuse also powers the tank level light switches. So you can use them to test if the fuse is okay.
I think the wire at the pump is #177, 12 gage, red. I'm not aware of a fuse but you would think there would be one. I've replaced my pump and did not notice a fuse in the pump compartment.

Pete, thanks so much for the info on the 164 wire. I did find it after a little searching. Took off the front panel that holds the water pump switch and discovered that the switch has no power. Also found the 164 wire going into the switch also had no power...... Dah, looked for the 164 fuse and bingo.... all fixed and plenty of water flowing....
Thanks again, good to know that there is another 2000 Magna out there!
