We have used our Cable Signal Input Jack at Campgrounds successfully. We have a DISH Network Satilite system, but are not registered to use it in our '01 Intrigue. But we do have DISH Network in our house. Last evening I ran the coax cable I use to watch car racing in the garage to the Coach input jack, but could not get the cable signal on the coach TV's with them on any setting ANT, AUX or VCR. I assumed the input signal that comes out of the statite reciever box to the coach would be handled like any cable signal. The satilite system was off. Any suggestions?? Thanks Lee

Lee:

Was your Antenna LED ON?

Make sure the LED on the roof mounted antenna is OFF (use the switch on the brown plate)

The switch on the Roof Antenna Control switches between the coach input jack and the roof antenna. (and powers up the antenna amp)
My wife hates that we can not watch parkside cable on one TV and Roof Antenna on the other!

You should have been able to pull the cable off your garage TV and plugged it into the MH in the basement and put the MH switch on AUX and turn on your Sat receiver (assuming this is connected to a dish on your house roof) and been good to go. (I' confused what Sat system was off???)

BTW, Dish doesn't care if you take it with you when you travel.

Hi LEE,

You may have not supplied all the conditions.
How does the DISH Network receiver feed the TVs in your coach? I can only guess that it was wired in somewhere between the signal input jack and the switches inside (ANT, AUX, VCR) or it's just simply selecting ANT or AV1, AV2 or AV3 on your TV with your switches on AUX.

Fred, Dave & Jim,

Thanks for the Quick, Good Responses.
1. The SAT Reviever in the Coach does not have a current Mag Strip Card in it, so only info channel is avaiable. My next step will be to move one of the house revievers to the Coach. But the intaller of our house systems, said that my '01 Coach SAT DISH was too old for the Newer SAT DISHES Revievers.. Do not know if that is so or not, unti I try it.
2.I thought I had tried it with the Antenna LED Enhancer off. But will try again tonight. When I flipped be between ANT switch where there was a good Picture to AUX it was a Bad Snowy picture of only the lower VHF channels.
3. I will try Fred's suggestion of trying AV1 , AV2,& AV3 with the TV switch tonight.
4. I have gotten the DISH info channel on the Coach SAT at the walk thru when we bought it... So I know the Coach SAT does send signal to TV's.
5. The cable signal from the garage TV is after it comes out of one of the house SAT DISH recievers...
My long term goal is to use one of the house SAT Dish and recievers when the Coach is in our Metal barn at our Redmond farm, where the Coach SAT Dish won't get signal thru metal barn roof....
Once again Thanks Guys fo rth eHelp. I'll let you know......

Lee,

I don't know why yours didn't work. I put a remote dish outside my barn, ran the coax to my receiver that I took out of the coach, hooked coax from receiver to park cable inlet & it works great. Maybe because you have a receiver in the coach with no card it, it is blocking the signal. Try removing the coax from the coach receiver.
That should solve your problem. Also make sure your house receiver is on. All the tv & video selector box settings are the same as when you hook up to park cable.

Hope this helps........
