One of the RV magazine writers suggested the use of a new self contained automatic fire suppression system from a company called "Preteng". He recommended it for refr compt , gen compt or engine compt. or all three.
This appears to be a simple 6' tube that is designed to burst at certain high temps then releasing its pressurized fire suppressant chemical. Looks easy and convenient. However, this "Preteng" system is very expensive.
Meanwhile, I found a similar system called "Blazecut" @ $169 on line.
Anyone's experience with these or similar automatic systems would be appreciated.
