My 8000 QD circa 2002 is starting rough in the morning when it's cold out and blowing a bunch of gray/ white smoke for a minute or two. My Cummins people tell me it's probably a glow plug or two going. What Cummins wants for the glow plugs is absurd. It's a Kubota engine, same as the 7500 QD. I'm sure the glow plugs are NGK. Does anyone happen to know the NGK number? While on the subject, has anyone changed them out? What does it entail? I have the Onan service manual and there is no mention of glow plugs much less how to replace them.

I'm pretty sure it said Kubota on the engine when I was in there.
