My water tank is no longer filling automatically. I now need to activate by pressing switch. It will occasionally overflow if left pressurized. So the question is what and where is the unit that controls this feature?

On my 2000 Magna, the water fill switch is on the passenger side of the upper dash and there is a control board for the water fill solenoid behind the upper dash, passenger side, to the right of the water fill switch.

The control board is toggled on with a press and release of the water fill switch and will be toggled off if the switch is pressed again. The board also controls power to the water pump and keeps the pump turned off as long as the tank is filling. I assume the board uses the fresh water tank sensors to determine when the tank is full and toggles itself off.

If your control board is defective, Kevin Waite may know of a replacement.
