My Affinity coach #5295 had severe issues after I attempted to use the boost charging on dead batteries. It blew the big 300 amp fuse at the top of the battery compartment. In doing that, unknown to me at the time, it also caused I/2 of the battery isolator on the passenger wall side of the engine compartment. (Alternator side).
Long story short, my coach (probably yours as well) has a Duvac Leece Neville alternator. It's significantly different from later model wiring systems.
This ultimately was solved with a new 180 AMP dual isolator. Took a long while to correctly diagnosis because the system isn't familiar to most RV mechanics.
More details if you think my issue will help yours.
