Title: Safe T plus steering device
Post by: Tom Townsend on January 22, 2020, 08:41:57 am
My wife attended a rv seminar and one of the topics discussed was the safe t plus. She ask me to look into having one installed on our coach.  It appears that most of the installs are on much smaller coaches.  We drive a 2006 CC magna 45 ft. approximately 60,000 lbs. It handles superb  and the only benefit that I see would be for front tire blow out never had one never want one. Would love to have some feed back on the use of this device on these larger and heavier coaches.

Hey Tommy - Share my thoughts here to, along with IRV2, so if someone else researches in the future:)!

As I understand it, the Safety-T-Plus is usually not on IFS's. Not sure if all Non IFS's CC's have Safety-T-Plus available to them, but pretty sure I remember reading over the years that some do.

For sure more $$, but check into Tyron's for enhanced tire blowout safety...
