Title: Very High Pitched noise from rear of coach....
Post by: Cooper1951 on February 11, 2020, 05:32:20 pm
I just noticed a low to medium strength VERY HIGH PITCHED ringing noise from the area between my tandem axle and rear axle. Sounds equal on both sides of the coach. Doesn't seem to matter if on shore power, engine running, or generator on--same noise. Even after I turn off Coach and Chassis battery switches, noise continues for quite a while. Any ideas what it might be?
2002 Country Coach Magna.
Thanks,
Mike

Possible air leak maybe?

I have the same (01 Affinity), will be taking it for service in spring, but mine is an air leak, coming from the ride height valves between the 2 rear wheels. My rear sags very quickly as the air dumps once I shut the motor down and the whine stops.

I just got back from HWH in Moscow, Iowa. They replaced an air control valve on my coach and checked it all out. Now looks and works great. $300.00. Awesome
