Here is a little information that may help others avoid a lot of frustration if they are thinking about signing up for wireless internet service from Coach Connect in Austin, TX. We signed up for their service in early December of 2003 and continued it for January and February of 2004. Since we were moving on in early March, we emailed and phoned the Coach Connect contacts in mid- February to request a discontinuation of the service at the end of the then current billing period. The Coach Connect contacts confirmed via email and phone conversation that there would be no further charges unless we requested additional service in the future. At this time they are continuing to charge us for service we can no longer use and also continue to tell us they have corrected their mistake and have credited the overcharge. However, after waiting three days, no credit has shown up on our current statment. In summary, their service works well, but their business practices stink. As of today, we have filed a dispute with our credit card company. In my opinion, they don't deserve anyones business.
