Title: Generator drawer motor....
Post by: Rob W on June 20, 2020, 09:07:13 am
When taking my generator in and out it is very slow and sometimes stops all together.  Worried I’m loosing the motor that powers the screw rod the drives it in and out.  Has anyone had to replace this motor?

We are dealing with the same issue, we removed the motor and tried to rebuild it... but finding a replacement is the hard part and costly as well

Thanks please let me know if you end up finding a motor replacement...I will do the same.  Where there any part numbers on it or manufacturer information?  Any tech information on any label?  Thanks

I'm waiting right now for a technician to find a motor or new gears for my 2008 Intrigue 520. I keep you all posted on the results. Then I have to figure out why the generator shuts down on overheat. Coolant is good, fan and hub were just replaced but it starts and runs but gets to temp and over and shuts down.
