Title: Thermostat not coming on
Post by: shelby6973 on July 26, 2020, 06:17:23 pm
I flipped the breakers off on both air conditioners so I could clean inside them. I flipped the breakers back and now the thermostat will not power up. Is there something else I need to do to get the thermostat to power up. Coach is 2000 Magna 36ft. Thanks in advance

Try resetting the thermostat.

   • Turn On/Off switch to Off
   • Simultaneously depress and hold the Zone and Mode push-buttons while turning the On/Off switch, to On.
   • FF should appear in the LCD display until the Mode and Zone push-buttons are released.
   • If any dip switch has been changed, a reset must be done for the thermostat to recognized the change.

I tried but no luck, going back up top to look around.

For you have a 4 button or 5 button thermostat?

The 4 button is no longer made and upgrading is an involved  process ($$$) but a guy in the Midwest rebuilds them and, for a small addition charge, guarantees them for a year or two. I was pleased with his work and his return policy when the first unit had problems.

I found him on eBay and could find his name and contact info if you  need it.
