Title: Wiring Diagram for ‘07 Allure?
Post by: AviatorShow on August 24, 2020, 06:31:29 pm
Howdy CC forum! First post here.

We acquired an ‘07 Allure this month after our Monaco detonated on day 4 of a four month trip.

The inverter is acting up and blowing the 400amp fuse constantly, would love access to a wiring diagram if any one has access!

Thank you all in advance. If you want to follow along on my young family’s crazy adventure, we’d welcome you to:

Hi AviatorShow,

I don't have a wiring diagram for you, but I doubt it will help you troubleshoot anyway.

I think two possibilities would blow a 400 amp fuse, the positive cable is shorted to ground (chassis), or your inverter has a problem. Test for this by disconnecting the positive cable at the inverter, replace the fuse, and if it does not blow, your inverter needs repair or replacement. If the fuse still blows (unlikely), you need to find where it is contacting the chassis and repair the insulation or replace the entire cable.

Thank you Dean.
We replaced the inverter after trouble shooting and discovered (later) that the old one had been wired in backwards on the in / out. So, now I have an extra inverter and I'm working toward a solar setup for our trailer.

Appreciate the help!
