Title: 97 allure dash light
Post by: Bobinokeechobee on October 13, 2020, 05:20:31 pm
Hello all, I have recently purchased a 1997 allure with a Cummins diesel that runs pretty sweet. I have been a gas coach guy for some time now and have limited knowledge of Diesel engines. Coach has 73,000 miles on it, which I have been told is not bad considering the engine and tranny behind it. We shall see. I live in Alaska and winter in Florida. Canadians would not let me through this year, so we flew down and I bought this coach and left mine in Alaska. I have made 4 round trips between Alaska and Florida and love the trip, but I’m done with Canada. I’ll just have a motor home on each end and fly. My question is I have a light on the dash that concerns me. It is a large exclamation point with the text that says FRONT. Wonder if anyone knows what this dash light means. Leery of going to far afield with it unit I resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

That sounds like the warning light for low air pressure to your front brakes. On my coach the light comes on when the air pressure supply to the front brakes drops below 65 PSI.

Thank. You, that makes sense. I’ll check it out.
