Title: Radiator Fan
Post by: Bob Clouse on June 28, 2021, 12:24:25 pm
Has anyone found a source for a replacement radiator fan? or found part numbers for a replacement.  On our 2000 CC Magna with Cat C10.  I would like to find a source for the fan in case I need one.  After 21 years I'm sure the nylon fan is getting brittle.

I just had a friend loose a blade on his (non CC coach) and has had a very difficult time sourcing a replacement.

I'd give Premier RV Service a call, and see if Kevin or Jennifer can help you source one.

Best of luck:)! (And hope you carry it as a spare for along time...),

I also have a 2000 CC Magna with the C10.  When you find a replacement fan, I would appreciate you posting that information.  My fan hasn’t lost any blades, but it is missing some chunks out of the blades.
Thanks Don

I had to replace mine earlier this year. I was getting a vibration at high engine RPMs and it was traced to a very small crack in the cooling fan. Doesn't take much. You are right they are not easy to find, but I found
them after quite a search. If you crawl under there and look carefully there is actually a label on the fan.  At least on my C12 it's an American Cooling Systems ACS440256-30. The 30 is for 30 in. Go online to fanclutch.com they have them in stock usually and they cut them to size with a special machine. At least in the case of my Magna, they are NOT easy to R&R. However you don't want to wait until the fan breaks since you can take out your radiator in a heartbeat and more.

Thanks Richard.  I will check out American Cooling Systems.  I plan on changing mine out this fall as I surely don't want to have issues on the road.  I'm a firm believer in preventative Maintenance.
