Title: Fuse location for Diagnostic connector.
Post by: DieselDave on March 04, 2022, 03:22:10 am
Hello, I cannot get the Nexic blue tooth adaptor to power up. I checked all the pins in the round connector and no pins are hot. I'm suspecting a blown fuse to the connector but I cannot locate the fuse. Can anyone tell me where it might be located? I've checked both fuse panels near drivers feet and the fuse panel in the back of the coach near the diagnostic connector and no bad or missing fuses? No fuses are labeled as diagnostic connector.  Thank You.

My coach manual lists the "rear reader port" as using the top left 7.5 amp fuse in the ignition fuse panel, which is one of the two panels in the front bay under the driver's seat. I also found one report of the wiring to the port having overheated -- see Cummins ECM Wiring Question - iRV2 Forums (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f112/cummins-ecm-wiring-question-483171.html).

It would be helpful if you included the year and model of your CC.

Thanks Again DJ. That was where the fuse was located and that was the connection problem to the Nexiq blue tooth connection tool. Now to pull and inspect the wiring harness between the ECM and the diagnostic port for what blew the fuse in the first place.
