inverter problem with fully charged batteries my 2000 magna will have dead house batteries (batteries are 10 mos old)by morning. no major appliances are on cc says everthins is ok batteries used to last all night what should i look for.

Bill,

The first thing I would do is have the house batteries load tested.
If the same batteries used to last all night & now do not under similiar loads you may have a bad battery or two.
How are you evaluating the batteries as fully charged? If they are in fact fully charged then I would figure out my amp draw & compare that with my battery specs.

Did CC inspect your 12 volt system or did you speak to a tech over the phone?

Bill,

When I bought my 2000 Magna it was 10 months old and I probably could have said the same thing you are saying. The problem I had was that the coach batteries were "toast". This phantom load on this coach is 3 amps per hour when the house battery switch is on with nothing else turned on. Therefore in 3 days my batteries were well below half charge and in 5 days they were almost totally discharged. After this happens a few times, the batteries will not last overnight. Link2000 gives you a good idea of what is going on, however, to make this simple, I would start by checking the batteries with a hydrometer to see if they are good. Since I changed batteries I keep the coach plugged in in storage and my current batteries are 3 1/2 yrs old. I just checked them at the Tucson Rally and they are all well up in the green on the hydrometer.
