Just to add one other thing Bob had said about the "Boost Solenoid".
When you engage the "Boost Switch", and hear the solenoid closing, that does not mean there is a good contact. The bottom line is that if you have checked the oil pressure switch, the solenoid is most likely bad. The bad solenoid really shows when your batteries demand alot of current to charge. With the contacts are burnt, there is no current flow.
