I want to replace my patio/porch light on my 2000 Magna but I can't seem to find an LED replacement. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance!
Its would probably be easier (and will work better) simply replacing the existing light fixture with one from Premium Aftermarket RV Lighting | Lumitronics (https://lumitronics.store)
They sell a wide range of lights for RV's .... here are some of the porch lights that I think would work Lumitronics (https://lumitronics.store/search.php?search_query=LUM-IP01L§ion=product)
If you just want to keep the existing and find a replacement, check Premium Aftermarket RV Lighting | Lumitronics (https://lumitronics.store) for led bulbs. You can find cheaper ones, but they are not designed for the "abuse" that an RV can dish out :D ... plus they generally will not have a buck driver, which is a fancy term for a light that will not dim when the 12v voltage fluctuates as it does in an RV.
I replaced mine. At the time (I haven't looked lately), the LED version was only available through the Camping World website. They had an exclusive deal with the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Thin-Lite is still in business and might sell you one direct. My friend owns a Foretravel with a Thin-Lite porch light. He found useable LED guts on Amazon and was able to upgrade his without buying an all new LED system. Give it a shot.
