Hello once again! Our 2006 Affinity has multiple problems that all seemed to occur at the same time. Here are the problems:
We can lift our tag, but it will not come down, unless the battery cutoff is engaged.
Our smart wheel is not functional.
We have no functional: directionals, hazard lights with the ignition on.
The arrows in the side mirrors stay lit up solid, but don't blink with the ignition on.
Our front dash panel lights (Directionals and High Beam) stay on after the ignition switch is turned off for no reason (I included a picture).
Our clearance lights in the front stay on, very dimly after the ignition is turned off.
Our brake lights are very dim.
Can someone help us?
Hi,
I'm no expert, but one thought came to mind immediately: bad ground. So many issues!
Did they all start happening at the same time?
I'm assuming all the obvious things have been done: check fuses, check coach battery voltage, remove fuses in Echo-charger / BIRD etc.
Do you have a multi-meter with ammeter function? Start figuring out how to insert that into circuits to look for amp draws.
Are all of the other major features working - like - SOME electrical items are working?
Are the start batteries healthy? Holding down the boost switch restores functionality?
Do you have the official wiring diagrams from the manuals?
Cheers,
Paul
