Per the CC specifications, it looks like a 10 gallon electric water heater has been added to the 2005 Magna Hydro-Hot system. Does anyone know how the overall hot water system is designed? Is the thermostat to fire the boiler on the 10 gallon water heater? I thought Hydro-Hot systems didn't use a separate water heater.

The 2005 Mag has a separate 10 gal electric HWH which is located below the washer in the rear of the coach. It is seperate from the Hydro Hot, as far as I know. At least I hope it is since we recently ordered the 2005 Mag.

If it is separate, what does it feed versus the Hydro Hot? Or is it only for the washer? The Aqua Hot has a 16 gallon heat exchange tank and the Hydro Hot has one around 4.5 gallons. The reason to use the Hydro Hot is to have a smaller unit replacing the hot water heater.
The Hydro Hot's Priority System disables heating whenever domestic hot water is being used continuously. There have been problems with the Low Temp not opening causing the stir pump not to run resulting in cold water. A google search says most coach owners like the Hydro Hot. Most coach owners do not have a washer.
What will the 2005 Intrigue have? Time for Damon to jump in here.

Barry,
I still have the right to sell the coach myself, however if I don't it will be traded to
Lazy Days around July 10th. We don't pick our new coach up until July 25th, so Lazy Days will not sell it until we close on the new coach.

Hi Barry,
The 2004 Magna 30th anniversary edition (started at # 6326) and current 2005 Magna's have an Atwood 10 gallon electric water heater in addition to the Hydro Hot system. This was done to give the owners additional hot water for a longer shower when plugged into AC power.
Its hard to say what the 2005 Intrigue will have, I would guess it will be the Hydro Hot system alone.
