Hi-Speed internet connection anywhere while out in your coach!!!! Satellite TV using the same equipment!!!!! Wow! What a deal -- and only $5100 installed. Wrong.
Man, I was looking forward to this set-up almost as much as I was looking forward to getting my new Magna this Friday. Service guy called me and had all kinds of problems for me to face. My computer table is in the slide-out on the driver's side, and he said he didn't want to run satellite wires there. He suggested an alternative that would render a three or four ft. section of wire kind of "dangling" out of the back of the "L" shaped table behind the driver's chair -- not acceptable in a $450K coach! I cancelled on the satellite system. I also wasn't excited about him drilling holes in that nice, one-piece fiberglass roof. I'm really disappointed, though. I really wanted this "Hi-Tech" fun while traveling. Always seems to be the case -- deviate from what the factory already set up . . . and the problems begin. I was on a "cloud-nine high", thinking of getting my new coach with all this fun stuff -- but this news brought me back to earth. I'll have to come up with something else, I guess. So much for a Data-Storm (or Moto-Sat) install. It's "outa there!"

You can have a wireless setup. See www.datastormusers.com and look at the wireless setup article which describes using a DW4020 and a net-to-serial device. Others install a laptop with the modems and then use a normal wireless laptop on the computer table. Post a question and you will get all the help you need from installers and users. No need for dangling cables.

You can have a wireless setup. See www.datastormusers.com and under articles look for All Wireless Datastorm. It describes a DW4020 with a net-to-serial device in the cabinet. Wireless laptop on the computer desk will do the find satellite. Or in a more standard setup, put a DW4000 and laptop gateway running Hughes and Datastorm software in a cabinet. From the wireless laptop on the computer desk, connect to the gateway laptop using remote access (Windows XP) or VNC and do the find satellite.

Just call Bill Adams
http://www.internetanywhere.us/pages/883501/index.htm (http://www.internetanywhere.us/pages/883501/index.htm) running the cable into the slide takes longer, but is done all the time, and not by leaving 5' laying on the floor.
He does this full time, period.
