I have a Freedom 25 inverter in a 99 Magna that suddenly shut down.
Since all 110v power is routed thru it to the couch - the dealer suggested a work around of wiring 110v in to 110v out on the inverter. Now that I'm home I've had a look at the inverter and there was a small blown glass fuse blown inside -- I've replaced it and the inverter works to provide 110v from 12v but the charging circuit doesn't work nor do the AC Status LEDs on the monitor inside the coach. Does anyone have a good source for circuit diagrams or trouble shooting info? Seems that Hearts has sold to XANTECX and they don't know much about the "older" inverters.

There has been tons of threads on this subject: Fixing circuit board interconnects has been the solution, also look at the circuit breakers on the interter.

I have a 2000 Watt Heart model in a '95 Intrigue. The 12 volt to 120 volt side (inverter) worked fine. But the battery charging side was intermittent. I found that the connector between the two circuit boards to be the problem. I cleaned the connector best with a small wire brush. I then doped it up with some "no-ox". I also made sure all the factory cover screws were in place and tight. The cover is what keeps that particular connection together and tight.
So far (knock on wood) it hasn't given me any problems.
So....if you are of the adventurous type, completely disconnect the thing from your batteries and remove it from the coach. BE CAREFUL THOUGH. Those batteries are packing some S-E-R-I-O-U-S power and you don't want to do any unexpected welding. Then open it up and check it out. Whacha got to lose?
