If the Roof Needs to Flex, what effect does installing Two each 2 ft x 5 ft. solar panels have on restricting the Roof's Movement??? Lee in Portland with '01 x 36 ft Intrigue and installing 2 each 120 watt solar panels the ead of May.......

I did not think about that but do have two panels on my 36ft roof now and there have not been any problems. I am not an engineer and will have to leave the mathematics to them but would guess that the flexibility is minuscule and that the presence of the solar panels will not affect the ability to flex. My panels have been on the roof for the two years I have owned the coach and last time I was up on top I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. Mike. 2000 Allure 36ft.
