Mike, in Fletcher, NC, just outside of Asheville is a nice campground we've stayed in...Rutledge Lake Travel Park. Nice folks operated it 3 years ago when we were there...nice location. I'd recommend it.

Hi All, Just a note for anyone travelling to/thru the Franklin, NC area. (Approx. 30 miles south of Cherokee)I have an overnite or short term full hookup (WES, 50Amp, phone, & laundry) site at our summer cottage for a very reasonable fee compared to local RV parks. Call at (828) 369-0192 or cell (352) 598-2113 if you are interested. Thanx

I am staying at Bear Creek KOA park in Ashville right now. Very convenient to Biltmore, Blue Ridge, etc. Exit 47 in Ashville. Very nice park. Pull throughs are on a busy street so specify back-in's which are nice..
