Bill recently posted some results of the usage. Seems like it never really hit the critical mass required for a changeover.

I sent Bill a similar message. He said the site has been shut down, at least for now. He will be sending more info.

Since there seems to be a problem with the web site, could the kind person who wrote to me about painting the inside of the coach tell me again what kind of paint he used? I put Kill on the wall the stuff still shows through. I don't have a dark color, white background with teal in it.
Thanks again.

Hi Judith -

I haven't painted the inside of my CC but I have used Kilz quite a bit. Have you tried 2 or 3 coats? I recently re-did my office and had to cover stained and varnished wood. 3 coats did the trick.

The results of the message board review are posted here: http://www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ (http://www.usaharris.com/ccowners/) I also posted this info on this Yahoo board in message # 9875: Subject: Test Message Board review results As I explained on many occasions, my intention was never to move users from here to the other board, but to evaluate the other style as an alternative to this style.

I felt that everyone that was interested, had had an opportunity to look it over, no new users had registered in a while, so I took it down. I did not want two boards running, confusing some users.
The fact that no one could find my previous posts on this subject kind of proves my point that this style, where all messages are listed with no grouping, is hard to follow, and makes it more difficult to research prior issues, especially for new coach owners that are trying to get up to speed.

Hi, Judith,

I had explained to you that when I changed the bath and bedroom, I used a product called "fresh start" to seal the vinyl, not Kilz.
Just roll it on, then put down your base coat, and if you are going to faux, it goes on next.

I posted a picture of the results in my "Harris" photo folder, use the "Photos" link at the left, and it is the "new bath" folder.
I also had the new cornice made, changed the blinds for the Hunter Douglas silhouette shade, and put the bead board on the lower half of the wall.

Bill, I would like to say "Thank you for your time and effort" on the message board. It was, in my opinion, much better than this Yahoo site. This site is like the junk drawer, stuff is in there, but where? Your site, arranged by topics and groupings, was so much easier to use and find past posting.
Sorry to see it go, thanks again.

I concur with what Larry wrote; I liked the other site much better than this one; much more user friendly. Was it ever put to the "vote", with the members of this board, as to whether we should switch or not?

I'd also like to say thanks to Bill for evaluating the (forum style) software package. I felt that it would be a much better tool for the job than is this Yahoo Group SW.

Yes, my thanks to Bill also. I used that site a lot and really liked it. Much better than this site.
