I thought I would get around to the caulking job in the shower[ the bottom corner is loose and one side of the 'corian' can be moved approx. 3/16" away from the other side.
On very close inspection it appears there has NEVER been any caulking applied to the inside of the shower joints. I don't have a leak, that I am aware of, and the coach is 5 yrs. old Any Ideas? Is there any 'visible' caulking in your shower?

Larry,
We have the same shower that the Afinitty has in our 2001 Magna and I have recaulked the bottom trim twice since we purchased the coach. The caulking CCI uses is very clear and they do not spread it very thick so you can not tell if it is there or not, but if you have not had any leaks then it was there. We have never had any leaks either but I make sure this area is caulked regularly as it does wear off. I think my wife does that when she cleans the shower and I wipe it down.

Bill, thanks for the reply. Are you caulking the bottom that joins the shower floor pan? In talking with CC tech they maintain that part should be left 'uncaulked' in case water got behind the shower enclosure it has a path to drain back into the pan and not onto the floor behind the shower.
I have run a thin knife blade alone the side joint and there is not a bit caulk on my shower enclosure, I am surprised . I think I will run a thin bead of caulk down the vertical joint just for the heck of it, help me sleep better.
Thanks again, Larry
