We have a Dish Network Salellite system. We would like to paint the disk to blend in with our 04 Allure. Can anyone tell me how much signal strength you loose when painting them. I do know that you cannot use a metalic paint or metal flake. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Wes

If you're talking about the "bare" folding type of satellite dish (no dome cover), I think it's no problem to paint 'em at all. I've seen many with custom paint jobs. Eyeballs. Scenic views. Birds (especially eagles).
Wolves. You name it. And the owners all say that it doesn't denigrate performance.
