Title: Axle Weight Distributions

You get one of your Engineeirng Friends to do a simple beam weight transfer calculaiton. The weight transferred to an axle is directly proportional to it distance from that Axle. i.e. the closer the weight is to the axle the more weight will be applied to that axle and the balance goes to the other axle(s). For me, my challenge is trying to get more on the front axle. With the Engine, Trans, water tanks all behind or near to the rear axle. And the Genset and fuel tank closer to the front axle, I need to load my front storage compartment with all my heavy stuff.....
Is anybody going to be at Camp CC in JC this Thursday Night. We'll be there for a quick Friday morning Forward Passenger's side window awnings measurement. Thank's to a Photo on Chris & Jan McNeil's web site of their coach's side awnings..... CC would not use my Engineering Drawings to make the units. So much for a PE, when MotorCoach Techs are involved....
Lee in Portland, '01 x 36 ft. Intrigue, w/ BSME, Licensed Engineer in Oregon & Washington. With 4 ft less dead weight to cary around the a 40 ft.
