Tile floors look great and are easy to clean. They also give the coach a certain appearance that many people prefer over the look of a wooden floor.
Tiles are set in grout that may crack under pressure/stress. As you drive down the highway, cross RR tracks and bump into campground potholes, you create stress that can result in hairline cracks.
This, however, is not a problem. When the hairlines turn into wider cracks, it becomes a problem. The tiled floor in some coaches is more likely to develop stress cracks than in other coaches, and your driving style and road conditions make a big difference. If you have slide-outs, the rollers may crack tiles if the slide-out is not set correctly. In that case, the tiled floor and grout is not the problem but the slide-out affects the floor nonetheless.
Tiles with a mirror polish are slippery, particularly when wet from spillage from the counter/sink, or if your dogs drips water from the mouth after drinking.
I don't have polished tiles but imagine they really show scratches.
