Title: Fla non-commercial license for RV drivers

I don't think the "commercial" angle is important to this question...at least in Florida. The state has designated a specific catagory called NON COMMERCIAL LICENSE - Class D. If the Legislature, in its wisdom, chose to require a special license for driving those big motor coaches (as others have suggested is happening in other states), they have a ready made catagory to place such a requirement. The point of our investigation and verification was to show that they have NOT done this. If someone is using a motor coach weighing more than 26001 pounds...for commercial purposes...Fla has that already covered in the current regs. It is the recreational use of this size RV which is exempt from the non commercial class D or any other special license requirement.
