I am getting ready to replace my tires and want to use one of the old rear tires on a steel rim as a spare. I plan to buy a new rim, but have been told there are different types of lug nuts and that I need to know the type that CC uses. My coach is stored 80 miles away so checking the lug nuts is not an easy task. Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks
Gene

Gene: I have a coach just a few numbers away from yours. I've been through the tire rotation and ultimate changing to a larger size. If you want to discuss it, drop me a line larry.hanson@... (larry.hanson@...).
Also, you want to carry a spare? How would you change a flat? What about giving up that precious cargo space? I don't think many of us carry spares.
The lugs appeared to be standard ones to me. Nothing special needed for steel inside and aluminum on the outside. 10 hole Budd wheels.

Anybody else know more? (That wouldn't take much)
