There was a thread awhile ago about this, but the "search" function doesn't seem to work well on this forum. We're starting to have the door "pop" its seal while underway...the door stays latched, locked, etc. but you all of a sudden notice wind noise, etc.
Do we need to just put in a new gasket? Can't remember what the remedy was.
Thanks..

Jan,
I had a problem with the door popping partially open while traveling. My problem was that the latch was not completely latching both door striker plates-although it would lock. Under travel it would lose its grip on the inner striker plate. Inspection showed that the two striker plates were not perfectly lined up. I did about 5 mins of grinding & the door now latches both striker plates and has not opened inadvertantly since.
Not sure if this is your problem. If it is grind the plates in place as you will lose the backing nuts inside the door if you remove.
