is the original gauge. It has a scale to 160 mph. (snip) the numerals are all a little small for my somewhat older eyes (snip) And, to complicate things (assuming yours is like mine), there's only three "ticks" instead of four between major MPH points, so it's difficult (without a GPS) to know exactly how fast you're driving between the major points.
Also, the odometer is damn near impossible to read, even in the dark with dashboard lights on. Someone suggested securing a small magnifying glass lens over the odometer to make it easier to read. That's on my "to do" list.
By the way ... with our laptop computer in front her, with navigation program and GPS enabled, Geri is my "talking speedometer." At my invitation .
