Has anyone been having any problems with their paint on the cargo bay doors. Air bubbles are starting to form underneath the paint. I have a 99' Magma.

We have paint that is chipping on our 98 Allure all along the sides; the entry door is bubbling. We contacted Country Coach last year and also the dealer who sold us the coach. Due to rain and schedules, we were unable to address the problem until now. CC told us that the door had a problem with the manufacture and materials; they are sending a new door but refuse to pay for the installation or paint. I understand they cannot be responsible for an indeterminate amount of time; however, if something was wrong from the inception, it is still wrong! I wrote a letter and am awaiting a response.

I am beginning to get a couple of small "blisters" on the lower portion of my entry door ('99 Intrigue). Do you remember about what time of year your coach was built. Mine was built in March of '99.

we had a paint problem (tiny bubbles under the paint) on our 1992 Magna and CC agreed to have those areas repainted. We had the work done at StarJet in Lakeland FL and were very satisified with their work. For what its worth, we have had 3 country coaches since 1989 and have found them to be a great company to work with when it comes to taking care of customers problems.

I have a '98 Allure and I had the problem of the entry door paint "bubbling". I found out (from Country Coach) the door Manufacturer used "dissimilar metals" inside the door in the manufacturing process and "electroless" was taking place ... a chemical deposition of the metal when different metals touch due to small electrical currents present in the coach frame ... and that was bubbling the paint. The ONLY solution is to replace the door with one that wasnt manufactured this way. Country Coach got me the new door AND paid to have it installed and painted. This was done March 2000 by Creative Coach in Lakeland, FL. I was well beyond my 1 year warranty ... which expired Oct of 1998. I was very proud of Country Coach for stepping up to the problem
I have no idea if the storage bay doors may be suseptable to the same problem ... I have had no such occurence.

not possible to have electrolysis on the bay doors.. they are not metal!
