Hey. Isn't someone going to defend those window covers? Ok, I will.
While in Yuma, Arizona, we had a set manufactured and installed on our Intrigue. We really like them.
Advantages: Sun screens keep hot sun out of the coach. Cut down on sun rot.
They also give you daytime privacy. You can see all the folks, dawgs, cats, etc outside and they can't see inside.
Open your tinted windows for ventilation, even in the sun.
Nice cozy feeling, not "fishbowl" effect.
There is a place in Yuma that specialized in this type of product. First come, first serve. You drive up and they measure and cut the job on the site. It takes a couple of hours.
As I recall, I paid around $125.00 for windshield, door and four side windows, wiper covers and a nifty storage bag. We asked them to make a screen porch enclosure for us but they couldn't make one for the Zip Dee awnings. (I have the old manually operated awning, remember them?)
Besides, it's part of the "set-up" ritual. Awnings out, rugs out, clean bugs off, etc, etc, etc. It makes the LaFuma feel even better.

I agree Larry, we are in Yuma visiting Algodonas for dental and optical.
It's 110 her. We have the sun screens and wouldn't be without them. You can feel the difference as you are putting them on. This was one of the better comfort purchases we've made for the RV.
