Had my hydro hot tuned up about a month ago. It worked fine for a while and then quit putting out hot water. The burner comes on, goes through its cycles, the tank is hot, but no hot water. All fuses and check lights on the black information panel are normal. The coach heat seems to be working fine, as the outlets are putting out heat, but no hot water. Any ideas? Thanks.

R. D,
The first thing that I would check is the outside spray faucet in the water bay. If both the hot and cold faucets are accidentally left on it provides a by pass for the cold to get to the hot water side. The next thing would be the mixer valve usually located on the end of the unit where the hot water line leaves the boiler unit. Note the present position of the adjustment knob and move it to full and back to least and then back to the original position. Often this will free up a stuck valve that is not allowing any hot water through.
Beyond that I would talk to Roger Berke owner of the Yahoo Hydronic Heat Group. He is a registered AquaHot tech and very helpful talking people through troubleshooting procedures.

board. Quite a bit of experience on that board, someone might have some input that could help your shop pin down the problem. I recall reading that one of the elbow tubes would sometimes have problems, and that short of a full replacement, repairs could be made on that part alone>
Well, doh, I didn't even know there existed a Yahoo HH list. Perhaps when I get my answer from R Mechanic I will join it and post to both lists
Yes it does, and I wish for it the best.
I am happy to recommend Dave & LJ's in Woodland, Washington,(20+ miles north of Vancouver) for upgrade work. We recently had our sofa changed, the lounge chair changed, the pull-out dining table made into a free-standing table that can be removed from the wall (so as to seat more than four people), the safe and (not quite so splendid) Splendide washer/dryer removed (and a beautiful cabinet with drawers built to occupy the former Splendide's space).
From my recent experience and observation, I would tend to go with OMC for important mechanical work, leaving the minor work to CC in Junction City. While we were at CC, we met Ron Lee, and experienced his discourse about the ills of his former company and the plan for the future. Alas, I thought it to be more "El Monte RV" than Country Coach. But, everybody has to make a living.
